corey&susi would like to adopt a baby
( ... that you really can't tell just by looking at us. )
( And there are still fireworks ... at least on the 4th of July. We've survived several countries, many cities, and a few careers together, and are now looking forward to the next great adventure, being parents. )
It's a truly amazing place to live and we think it would be an extraordinary city to grow up in.
We're American citizens and live here, but we're from Australia, which means we have two great countries to share with a child---he or she will be a citizen of both.
Sappy but true. Okay, so this island had restaurants, but the point is we're always there for each other, and we'll always be there for a child, too.
... and seen a lot of things, including big pointy things, and we can't wait to share the whole world with a brand new little person.
In general, that means we barbecue a lot, get around the world a lot, say "no problem" a lot, eat Vegemite, have accents, drink beer, make friends with everyone, and have a better time than anyone else in the world, all of which we'd love to pass on to child---except for the beer part.
We're mixed race, mixed culture, immigrants a few times over, and between us have lived everywhere from Sydney to Hong Kong to a tropical island in the middle of the Indian Ocean. We celebrate it all, and we'll celebrate everything your child is too---life is too short not to.
Which is impressive considering we grew up in places without any snow (even if the only people impressed are under the age of five).
... for you, and that you've come this far and are considering us at all. We hope you'll look around and if you like what you see, we'd love to chat.
